Barbecue in Your Crockpot - Easy Shredded BBQ Pork Recipe

Saving money for dinner tonight with your own crockpot barbecued pork shreds. This recipe, along with my special homemade barbecue sauce is not only delicious, but simple to prepare.

Slow cookers are great for time and money. Cooking in a crockpot is cheaper cuts of tender meat and consumption of energy is low, since even a crockpot requires less energy to create a tasty meal cooking in the oven.

How to Make Shredded Barbecue Pork

Start with a roast pork four pounds. Put them in a crockpot filled with sliced onion and enough water to 2 / 3 of the cooker too slow. With salt and pepper, cover and cook pork on low for 8 to 10 hours.

During cooking the pork, prepare the homemade barbecue sauce, your favorite recipe from my grandmother.

Ingredients for BarbecueSalsa

2 teaspoons margarine
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tablespoon sauce Worcheshire
2 tablespoons vinegar
4 tablespoons brown sugar
4 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 c ketchup

Melt margarine or butter over low heat. Add the other ingredients and mix.

If you made your barbecue sauce and refrigerate until the meat is cooked.

If your pig finish cooking, remove from the slow cooker and throw away the water and onions.

Boil the meat and then,With a fork, pull over the meat. After crockpot shreds the meat, which sends to. Add the homemade barbecue sauce and crushed thoroughly with the pork.

Average Cook for 1-3 hours, until the onions are soft.

Serve shredded pork grilled on a large, brown bread with baked beans and salad for a complete idea dinner.
