3 Easy Crockpot Pork Recipes

Creating a meal with a crockpot is easy. If you have pork on hand, try these crockpot recipes for dinner!

Recipe # 1 - APPLE GLAZED Roast Pork

4 pounds pork loin roast

6 apples

1 / 4 cup apple juice

3 T. Brown Sugar

1 T. Ginger

Rub the roast with salt and pepper. Brown pork roast under broiler to remove excess fat and drain well.

Core and quarter apples. Place apple quarters in bottom of slow cooker. Place roast on apples.Combine apple juice, brown sugar and ginger. Pour over the top surface of the oven, even when wet. Cover and cook on low heat for 10-12 hours, until done.

Recipe No. 2 - Barbecue Pork Roast

1 pork roast (or beef)

Juice of 1 lemon

1 small onion, chopped

1 teaspoon sugar

1 bottle of barbecue sauce

Bake covered in water (start with hot water) in crockpot overnight on low 10-12 hours. Discard the water and pull meat into shreds pieces. Fry the onion in a little 'butter. Mix barbecue sauce, onions, sugar and lemon juice with meat in crockpot and cook on high for 1 1 / 2 to 2 1 / 2 hours or low heat for 3 to 6 hours.

Recipe # 3 - CAJUN BREW PORK N BEANS

5 cans Pork-n-Beans (2 sizes smaller)

2 cans of tomato sauce 8 ounces

2 onions (chopped)

6 hot links (sliced)

1 / 4 bottle of barbecue sauce (average size)

They are "to taste"

Worcestershire sauce

Hot Sauce (I like Crystal hotsauce)

Cajun Seasoning (I like Tony Chachere seasoning)

Liquid smoke

Mustard

Brown Sugar

Mix all ingredients in a crock pot and Crank It Up high. Cook all day, stirring occasionally. Can also be made on the stove, but let it cook for several hours, stirring occasionally.

Barbecue in Your Crockpot - Easy Shredded BBQ Pork Recipe

Saving money for dinner tonight with your own crockpot barbecued pork shreds. This recipe, along with my special homemade barbecue sauce is not only delicious, but simple to prepare.

Slow cookers are great for time and money. Cooking in a crockpot is cheaper cuts of tender meat and consumption of energy is low, since even a crockpot requires less energy to create a tasty meal cooking in the oven.

With a little 'planning before, crockpotYou save a lot of time to answer this age old question: "What's for dinner?"

How to Make Shredded Barbecue Pork

Start with a roast pork four pounds. Put them in a crockpot filled with sliced onion and enough water to 2 / 3 of the cooker too slow. With salt and pepper, cover and cook pork on low for 8 to 10 hours.

During cooking the pork, prepare the homemade barbecue sauce, your favorite recipe from my grandmother.

Ingredients for BarbecueSalsa

2 teaspoons margarine
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tablespoon sauce Worcheshire
2 tablespoons vinegar
4 tablespoons brown sugar
4 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 c ketchup

Melt margarine or butter over low heat. Add the other ingredients and mix.

If you made your barbecue sauce and refrigerate until the meat is cooked.

If your pig finish cooking, remove from the slow cooker and throw away the water and onions.

Boil the meat and then,With a fork, pull over the meat. After crockpot shreds the meat, which sends to. Add the homemade barbecue sauce and crushed thoroughly with the pork.

Average Cook for 1-3 hours, until the onions are soft.

Serve shredded pork grilled on a large, brown bread with baked beans and salad for a complete idea dinner.

Sloppy Joes For a Backyard Picnic - Crockpot Style

You can think of sloppy Joes, like a "child" but I still love food they eat, and I serve them to my family regularly. I recently had a picnic-style meeting at my house for my family and friends. I didn 't want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen, so I decided that I would use my crockpot and my famous big crowd Pleasing Sloppy Joes. This recipe has been a favorite of many events covered dish. It is so easy to create and it will 24 serve hungryDiners.

Ingredients

3 pounds ground meat
1 cup coarsely chopped onion
3 / 4 cup celery
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 can (261 / 2 ounce) Sloppy Joe Sauce
24 Hamburger Buns

Directions

* Cook beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally, until beef is brown.
* Drain.
* Transfer beef mixture to 31 / 2 crockpot to 6 liters.
* To the mixture of beef, choppedCelery, barbecue sauce and Sloppy Joe sauce. Mix thoroughly.
* Cover and cook on low heat setting for 7 to 9 hours (or soft boil on high heat setting for 3 to 4 hours) or until the vegetables are.

Quick Tips

1. Spray crockpot with cooking spray for easier cleaning.
2. Buy already chopped onions and celery.
3. Sloppy Joes stay warm for about 2 hours. Stir occasionally to prevent mixture of always too brown around theEdges.

You can garnish each serving with a sloppy Joes. So I usually serve simple preparations, potato chips.

This recipe takes only 15 minutes to prepare, but your guests will think you spent a day in the kitchen. Be prepared for compliments!
