BBQ Chicken Recipe - BBQ Chicken With an Orange Glaze

This tasty BBQ Chicken Recipe benefited from a clean edge and round off the sweet citrus flavor in this dish. The orange juice can be replaced with apple, if you prefer.

Ingredients:

6 chicken fillets, trimmed
1 / 2 liter of orange juice
3 tbls ketchup or tomato passata (sieved tomatoes concentrated)
2 tbls sugar demerera
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 / 4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce or your favorite pepper sauce
1 tbls ciderVinegar

Directions:

In medium or large saucepan add the orange juice, tomatoes, demerera sugar, cider vinegar, herbs and pepper sauce and bring a rolling boil. Reduce the temperature in a gentle and simmer, stirring constantly until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Divide the sauce mixture in half and then let it cool. Place 1 / 2 sauce into a plastic or glass container in the refrigerator and place the other half of the sauce in an oven-proofCourt.
